What can you do when the home seller backs out after you have a verbal agreement on the sale?
I wanted to buy a house I saw on ebay. I called the lady and we had a deal for the money I sent to the title company and at that time was to end the auction. 5 hours later I called saying that his partner had sold the house, but that the person had not given them money. She told me to wait until Wednesday and had to call and tell me if the other party had sent the money. I wonder if I have any legal recourse. We did have a contract for the house verblasen.
